<b>Q: Why should the Smartvatten device not be moved? / Can I move the camera to look at the meter myself? </b>

<br> A: Even the slightest movement of the device will interrupt the reading and cause the data stream to be lost. This can lead to the following problems and thus have a negative impact on potential certifications for the customer:

- undetected leaks
- lost consumption data
- incorrect consumption reports

Placing the reader back on top of meter will not automatically start the reading again.

Please inform us, if the device should have been moved.

NOTE: If the water supplier has to check the water meter or is replacing the water meter the device can be moved. Please inform us afterwards.
