Can I use an API key and a water meter serial number?

No. A water meter serial number cannot be used to retrieve data from the Smartvatten API.

To access data through the API, you need:

  • A valid API key

  • The Device ID of the Smartvatten device

Meter serial numbers are available as metadata but cannot be used to query data through the API.
