Q: Is a leak alarm real?
A: If the property has a PRO service module, in which case the property's consumption data is monitored at the minute level, the alarm is always real, meaning that the leak cannot be caused by normal water use, but the water meter has not stopped at night and there is continuous water consumption. If the property has a BASIC service level with hourly consumption monitoring and the hourly alarm limit is set correctly, the alarms are also real and indicate higher consumption at night. High consumption alarms are based on instantaneous consumption that is significantly higher than normal consumption.

Q: Is the leak still active / deactivated?
A: The leak status can be reviewed on the Smartvatten Hub. If there is a leak, the minute-by-minute consumption can be monitored by selecting the red leakage amount next to the property name in the leakage section on the main page. The leak will remain active in the Hub until it is officially deactivated based on nighttime consumption data. Once the leak is resolved, a separate notification will be sent confirming its end. Additionally, the Smartvatten Hub's consumption data will display periods of zero consumption after the leak has been deactivated.

With hourly monitoring (service module BASIC), the consumption monitoring period is at 2 a.m. to 5 a.m. The leak deactivation message is similarly generated based on consumption data in the night monitoring period. The leak is active in our system until the consumption limits are no longer exceeded during the night's monitoring period.

Q: When did the leak start? / How long has the leak lasted?

A: You can check the leak situation in Smartvatten Hub.

We will also send a leak alert message in the morning when a leak is detected based on night monitoring period. The leak deactivation message is sent in the same way in the morning when the leak is deactivated.

Q: How big is the leak?

A: We report the size of the leak in the leak alarm message. The size of the leak can also be checked in Smartvatten Hub.

Q: How do I update (add / delete / change) leak alert recipients?
A: Contact our Customer Support. Updating will soon be possible by the users in the Smartvatte Hub.
