For those who are completely new to these certificates, we have briefly explained below what it entails.

BREEAM

BREEAM stands for Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method and is a certification method for a sustainably built environment. This certification is used in more than 80 countries. Together with Smartvatten, you automatically get 18 points for BREEAM. You can increase this to 29 if you actively work with our system.

GRESB

The GRESB organization provides a standardized and validated way to determine the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance of real estate and infrastructure and shares that data with capital markets. It is the world's leading ESG benchmark for real estate and infrastructure investments. And it actively recognizes the importance of the responsible use of water.

As a data partner, Smartvatten is able to share data directly with GRESB on behalf of clients through an API connection. No need for manual input, additional portals or integrations, it all happens automatically and without fuss. And, unlike other portals, the data does not need to be simplified: the highly detailed per-minute data can be sent and processed directly.
